Non Security Related:
- I have been involved in the local community in several ways serving on several committees and carried out fund raising for various charities (local and national) over the years. Right now, if your interested, support the local schools plan to rebuild their pool. www.justgiving.com/saveourpool/.
- I have been involved in a neighbourhood project to plant trees on and around the village green. With the help of my neighbours we have planted a dozen large trees and I’m now active in a group that will plan out how we will use the green in the future including development of the pond over the next year.
- I am also helping individuals via Kiva which provides interest free loans to individuals in developing countries. It’s only a small thing but it does make a huge difference to these peoples lives. Can you help people too ?
- More recently I’ve become a committee member of the Witchford sports and social club and plan to use my IT and project management skills to develop their website, spread the word about their services and bring in a greater number of members to help it survivie.
- I am also organising a large community event which will hopefully raise some much needed funds for both the schools new pool and the social clubs Christmas party which is held for the children of it’s members each year.
